Code 3's Z3 Siren is designed to be easy to program, easy to install, easy to maintain, but most of all, easy for the officer to use!
The Z3 Siren has several unique advantages:
- The control head is divided into three distinct zones – Red, Blue, and Amber for ease of identification and use without taking an officer's eyes off the road. The buttons on the control head are different shapes and sizes for ease of finding and use. Buttons are also backlit when pressed and button lighting is adjustable.
- The Z3 offers very intuitive software setup that takes less than 5 minutes. It can be downloaded to the amp in seconds making programming easy and quick when doing multiple siren setups. The Z3 also comes with an expanded load management feature that automatically turns off nonessential loads (i.e. flashing headlights) at predetermined levels to help extend battery life. There are also a host of programmable features such as siren lock, light alert, multiple tone choices, positive or ground switching, park kill, horn ring, and many more that offer mission specific flexibility. Also, installation is very simple. Connections are all plugs that snap in with easily accessible fusing for quick and easy replacement or repair. Programming is stored in the amp (swap out control head for a new one if one goes bad without having to reprogram the siren).
