L-3 EOTech designed the Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS) - the world's first holographic sighting system for small and medium-sized weapon platforms. The HWS employs a true heads-up display that eliminates blind spots, constricted vision or tunnel vision associated with tubed sights. It has been proven to stand up to multiple threats in any given situation.
CMC stocks the 512, 552, XPS3-0 NV Compatible, and the XPS2-0 models, which are currently available on the CMC website. The Model 512 is a great tactical optic for those who want the best in CQB speed and versatility, without the need for night vision compatibility.
Standardized by the DEA, ATF, and FBI SWAT, the Model 552 is by far the most popular HWS model. This NV compatible, AA battery model is the sight of choice by military units like Stryker Brigade, 10th Mountain, and 3rd Infantry. It is battle proven to withstand the abuse that any harsh environment, high powered weapon platform or military mission can dish out.
The XPS3-0 is the shortest model sight yet! This sight is smaller than the former N-cell battery sights and runs on a single 123 battery. It also has a longer battery life than the N-cell style sights. With the new single battery configuration, the XPS allows more rail space than ever, leaving more room for rear iron sights or NV mount.
