Range Systems introduced their simple solution for mounting paper targets – the Quik Stand.
The Quik Stand offers both ease of use and versatility. The set includes two zinc-coated tube steel base feet and a set of zinc-coated thumb screws. The overall dimensions of the base feet measure 6” x 6” x 5.25” high. The versatility comes into play in that the user can choose to complete their stand by using their own standard 1 x 2s or 2 x 2s and each base can accommodate either, allowing the user to mix and match with their available lumber. For even more versatility, several stands can be attached together to create a variety of firing courses, or Daisy Chain them together in a line or for shooting at various distances.

Chemical weapon arsenals remain a viable threat to military personnel and civilian populations, due to their potential deployment and use by hostile military forces and terrorists.
Many of the first and second generation, chemical weapons may be identified by their unique odor. For example, the chemical Lewisite smells like geraniums; Sulfur Mustard gas smells like garlic and Hydrogen Sulfide smells like sulfur or rotten eggs. In most cases first responders will not have immediate access to PPE (personal protective equipment) or gas meters and will have to rely on training, experience and all of their human senses, especially their sense of smell to detect potential chemical threats. Each NDP Chemical Weapon ID training kit kit comes in a self contained “training briefcase” containing 8 8.5” x 5.5” fully scented training cards. The scent is activated by vigorously rubbing a finger across the printed side of each card. The scent lasts for a long time and may be activated for several uses.
The Marijuana ID Training Card, made from real marijuana, were originally developed by European law enforcement to promote public awareness and combat illegal indoor cultivation of marijuana. These unique scratch and sniff training cards provide a safe, accurate and legal way to expose first responders and others to the odor of marijuana. The cards are 2” x 6” bookmark size. The scent on each card may be activated for several uses. The cards are completely safe, there are no drugs in the cards, just the smell of the marijuana. These unique training cards are available nowhere else in the US.
CSI Publishing of Dallas, Texas announced the release of the Second Edition of Mass Shootings: Six Steps to Survival by John Matthews. Examining more than 60 mass shootings that have occurred in the United States since 1980, this book focuses on the actions taken and decisions made by those who survived these horrific attacks. Armed with this new information, the old axiom “fight or flight” is dispelled or at least modified for this new breed of killer. Fight by yourself and you are almost assuredly going to join the ranks of the victims if not the overall body count; flee and present a target for the killer or draw his attention, and chances are you will not make it out alive.

This book merges a digital analysis examiner's work with the work of a case investigator in order to build a solid case to identify and prosecute cybercriminals.
