CH Products' IPD Ultima is an edition of the IP Desktop USB, the joystick well-known in the network video surveillance industry. This stylish new model features a premium soft touch “business blue” desktop housing and 10 vibrant blue LED illuminated pushbutton switches.
The IPD Ultima edition also brings a new level of luxury and sophistication to camera control by utilizing a three-axis, two button Hall effect joystick. This allows users to accurately control the pan/tilt/zoom functions of IP surveillance cameras. In addition to professional P/T/Z control, the IPD Ultima features 10 LED backlit pushbuttons on the desktop housing and two tactile pushbuttons on the joystick handle that can be assigned functions within supported IP video monitoring applications.
The IPD Ultima is a HID compliant USB 1.1 device and is compatible with video surveillance applications that recognize joystick inputs via Microsoft’s DirectX. DirectX is a standard platform for Windows-based PCs that enables software developers to access USB devices without writing a hardware-specific code. To operate the IPD Ultima, users simply connect the joystick to their PC via the USB port and assign functions to the programmable buttons within their supported network video surveillance program.
