The BHI-15 modernized carbine is based on a lower receiver which surpasses industry standard benchmarks in terms of strength, quality material and exacting tolerances—and since all BHI-15 rifles feature high-quality Criterion chrome-lined barrels that are also machined to tolerance levels exceeding the norm. The weapon includes the the Magpul PRS (Precision Rifle/Sniper)and additional ergonomic benefits for long-range shooting include a rubber butt-pad, easy-grip adjustment knobs and a robust butt stock hook for non-shooting hand support.
For grip, BHI includes the DPMS Panther Tactical Grip, boasting an aggressive textured polymer-injected body and adjustable palm grip which ideally positions the shooter's hand for a more direct trigger pull, and support to reduce fatigue when waiting for the shot.
Inside, the BHI-15's standard Geissele SSA trigger is upgraded to the Geissele DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) unit, featuring an adjustable two-stage pull for maximum trigger control.
The package is further fine-tuned with the inclusion of 20-inch Criterion barrel and rifle-length gas system versus the 16-inch/mid-length system found elsewhere in the BHI-15 lineup.
