Manufactured by AOR USA and available through Radio Reconnaissance Technologies, Inc. the AR8200MK3-IR has been modified to be fully Night Vision Goggle (NVG) compatible for government applications. When the IR (Infra-Red illumination) function is activated, the original green LED that illuminates the display and keypad is deactivated. The front keypad and the LCD screen are then illuminated by the IR LED that is only visible with NVG.
