The drop shank cushion also protects the hips and waist from the pain constantly inflicted by the hard belt-high edges inherent in every slotted holster design. The Duckbill shank cushion installs on the back of the holster, adapts to the shape of the user, and does not alter the look or performance of the holster in any way.
