The Lind Low Profile Shut Down Timer (SDT) provides the same protective functions as standard SDT's offered by Lind Electronics but comes in a more compact package for installation in tight areas. Lind Shut Down Timers are a simple, cost effective way to help prevent over-discharge of batteries in all types of utility, service and emergency vehicles. At half the height of the original Lind SDT, the Low Profile SDT installs easily in small spaces. Designed to protect vehicle batteries from over discharge, the Lind Low Profile SDT is programmed to automatically turn off electrical loads at a preset time after the vehicle's ignition is shut off. It is easy to install, set and test. Lind's unique design eliminates the need to open the case to set and test the timer, significantly reducing installation time. Even with the new compact design, switches, terminals and LED status lights remain easily accessible. Unlike timers that use inaccessible switches buried within the timer, Lind SDTs can be easily set with a screwdriver. Unique to the Lind SDT is a rapid testing function that enables operators to know immediately that the timer is set and operating properly.
