M&P15 MOE

The M&P15 MOE from Smith & Wesson is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Based on the popular M&P15 platform, the rifle was built in partnership with Magpul Industries. Using Magpul's innovative MOE (Magpul Original Equipment) gear, the rifle delivers the accuracy and dependability that shooters have come to expect from Smith & Wesson. Based on a combat proven design, the M&P15 MOE is a rugged, lightweight, gas-operated rifle. Custom fit with a MOE stock, grip, handguard and sights, the rifle is extremely modular and comfortable to shoot. At home in the back of a patrol car or in the hands of SWAT members, the rifle delivers exceptional accuracy and is well suited for any task. The upper and lower receiver on the rifle is constructed with a tough 7075 T6 aluminum and reliability features include a chrome-lined gas key, bolt carrier and barrel. The M&P15 MOE is equipped with several innovative features including a MOE stock on a six-position receiver extension tube, a MOE grip designed to enhance ergonomics while providing a positive anti-slip texture and a MOE handguard for improved firearm control. The handguard also allows users to easily add accessories. In addition, the rifle is standard with Magpul?s new MBUS rear folding sight along with a 30 round P-Mag. The rifle is offered with either black or flat dark earth MOE gear. The rifle measures 35 inches in length when fully extended and has an unloaded weight of 6.5 pounds.
