    The new Rofin Polilight PL500SC is specifically designed for use at the scene of the crime. With a 15-foot light guide and "intelligent" remote control running an ALS has never been easier. Now the investigator can select the search item from a computer menu. For example, select "DFO" and several configurations to find prints treated with DFO are presented. Everything is automated. The ALS provides the same high optical performance as the industry standard PL500 with 500-watt xenon lamp.
