Under Vehicle Surveillance System

The Perceptics Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS), available from Northrop Grumman, uses digital line-scan technology to provide a safe and effective way to search vehicle undercarriages. The system is available as a mobile or static unit and can be used at international border crossings, high-value sites, military bases and nuclear facilities. The UVSS captures an image of the vehicle's undercarriage and displays it on a touch screen monitor. The user may then scroll through the image and magnify suspected areas to search for explosives, firearms or other types of contraband. Images may also be identified with their corresponding license plate numbers and archived for future reference.
