Yolo County and Woodland Davis Command Center

Mobile Command Centers recently delivered a custom-designed, 40-foot command center to be jointly used by the Yolo County Sheriff's Department, and Woodland, Davis, Winters, West Sacramento and UC Davis Police Departments. The Center was purchased with Department of Homeland Security grant funds. It is built on an M2 Series Freightliner chassis with a 350-horsepower diesel engine and six-speed automatic transmission. The center has workstations for seven and a separate conference room, equipped with a 12-foot glide room, remote controlled hidden-arm awnings, a 20-Kw Power-tech generator, a Pelco PTZ color camera mounted on a 20-foot Will-Burt mast , two Havis-Shield pole-mounted 750-watt scene lights, an electronic white board, an LCD screen, LED emergency lights, roof ladder, observation platform, basement-style storage lockers and more.
