    The Video Marshal in-car police video system includes an overhead control unit with a small camera and steel lock box for the tape. The steel lock box is so small it can be mounted in the glove compartment. Features include a night vision camera, 560X digital zoom, digital picture stabilization, and a supervisor lock for securing tamper-free evidence. Martel Electronics includes its 800 MHz, 16-channel audio transmitter with desktop charger in this unit. The Video Marshal uses the 8mm tape format, one of the most reliable formats available, and has double the resolution of the VHS format.
