Rangemaster 900 CRF rangefinder

Rangemaster 900 CRF rangefinder

Rangemaster 900 CRF rangefinder Product Image
Leica announces the addition of the Rangemaster 900 CRF rangefinder to its line of optical products. This compact, lightweight rangefinder offers accuracy from 10 to 900 yards. Like the popular Rangemaster 1200 CRF, the new CRF 900, contains the Leica patented bright red LED readout. This popular feature allows the shooter to quickly determine the range to a target in ever changing light conditions as the LED readout automatically adjusts depending on the lighting conditions making it, legible at dawn, dusk or high-noon. The Leica Rangemaster CRF rangefinders set an entirely new standard in both function and performance in the optical industry. This high standard continues with the addition of the CRF 900. The compact, lightweight design easily fits into a pocket yet it packs the smallest and flattest beam divergence in the industry, thereby providing the most accurate laser and ranging capabilities. Additionally with a response time of 0.85s, it is also the fastest rangefinder in the industry. With P40 phase-corrected coatings on the prisms, users are provided with unprecedented image clarity. All CRF Rangefinders are fully submersible waterproof to 1m/ 3.3 feet.

Shooting Objective Range Device (SORD)

Two companies known for high-quality optics and innovative technology have teamed up to link two mission-critical tools in the Shooter Objective Ranging Device (SORD). SORD delivers the Sniper's Edge and features a Vectronix Inc. Laser Range Finder (LRF) and a Horus Vision ATragMX Ballistics Calculator. Connected by a cable or wireless connection, SORD instantly captures target range and then displays aiming solutions for multiple targets in up to eight zones. Shooters can enter their guns into the gun list for custom solutions instantly displayed on the handheld calculator, or they can print customized range cards to attach to their gun barrel. SORD links LRFs and ballistics calculators for accurate aiming solutions. The Horus ATragMX Ballistics Calculator registers target ranges automatically sent from the Vectronix LRF. It captures multiple targets in up to eight zones. When a gun is selected from the gun list, custom aiming solutions are displayed for any of the targets and zones that have been captured by SORD. ATragMX ballistics calculations are based on 50 years of ARDEC's small arms research. SORD comes configured for the Vectronix PLRFC or MOSKITO with the Horus ATragMX Ballistics Calculator with ATrag 4.0 software, which also includes the ability to print custom range cards. The devices are connected with a cable or wireless connection where available.

Advanced Ballistic Calculators

Horus Vision's Advanced Ballistic Calculators (ABCs) - rugged handheld computers paired with the company's ATragMX ballistics software can be customized to individual weapons to provide precise accuracy even at extreme distances. ATragMX software from Horus Vision offers shooters the precise ballistics solutions. The software was developed based on data compiled by the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), the Army's principal researcher, developer and sustainer of current and future armament and munitions systems. ATragMX goes beyond standard atmospheric and targeting data by allowing shooters to reverse-model results for individual guns. After test-shooting their weapons, snipers can feed data back into the software to create more precise calibration for those weapons. This provides better accuracy than the predictive, one-size-fits-all, solutions of typical ballistics software.

LH Series Laser Rangefinder/Hyposmeter

The LH Series Laser Rangefinder/Hypsometer height measurement system combines a pulsed laser rangefinder and a vertical angle sensor in a lightweight, easy-to-use package. The handheld rangefinder from Opti-Logic Corp. is capable of measuring distances to non-cooperative targets from 4 yards up to 1,000 yards away, depending on target size and reflectivity. Incorporating an internal electronic tilt sensor, the Laser Rangefinder/Hypsometer makes vertical angle measurements with 0.1 degree resolution (1 degree accuracy) to remotely determine object heights.

Rapid-Z reticles

The Rapid-Z reticles allow for quick and easy range estimation as well as target holdover features in an uncomplicated, user-friendly format. Reticles will be available in the standard Rapid-Z 600, Rapid-Z 800 and Rapid-Z 1000 formats for common rifle calibers and Rapid-Z Varmint for varmint and smaller long-range target shooting styles. All Rapid-Z reticles feature the ability to perform quick range estimation through the use of a simple ranging bracket feature. The shooter will need to know the size of the target in relation to the brackets as well as have their scope set to the power that the reticle uses for range estimation and holdover point-of-aim. Once the target is bracketed, range estimation can be made and the shooter will be able to take aim on the target through the use of the holdover aiming points located on the vertical axis of the reticle. The holdover lines have yardage reference numbers indicating distances that can also be used for ranging. Yardage distances will vary depending on the format of the reticle whether the Rapid-Z 600 and Rapid-Z Varmint for use out to 600 yards or the Rapid-Z 800 and Rapid-Z 1000 for use out to 800 and 1000 yards respectively. In addition to holdover reference points, the reticles will have hold points for windage equating to 5 and 10 mph winds along the horizontal axis of the major yardage lines.

TruPulse 200 Rangefinder/Hypsometer

The TruPulse 200 combination rangefinder/hypsometer from Forestry Suppliers features "thru-the-lens" viewing so users know laser energy is traveling directly along their line of sight. Measurements are shown in the display, and are listed in feet, yards or meters. Distance measurements can be taken up to 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) away without a reflective target. An integrated tilt sensor allows the user to measure horizontal or vertical distance and calculate an object's height instantly using the built-in two-shot routine. The "Closest" operating mode distinguishes near and far objects and identifies the closest target, and the "Farthest" mode allows users to lock on the farthest target and shoot distant features through brush and foliage.
