Speech User Interface

Aug. 20, 2007
Info-Cop offers law enforcement a Speech User Interface (SUI) that allows public safety officers in the field to use voice commands to control in-vehicle devices - such as sirens, scanners, GPS units and lights - and gain direct, immediate access to motor vehicle and warrant information in local, state and federal crime databases. The SUI software interface provides this comprehensive "hands free, eyes free" access all through Info-Cop. By simply speaking commands to an in-car laptop, officers can run up to six consecutive plate checks, access the NCIC and HAZMAT databases and receive responses as text on the screen with key information read back to the officer audibly.
