HiDEF

Air crews can now determine not just that a supsect is holding an object in hand with HiDef, but whether it is a 9mm blue-steeled Beretta handgun or a cell phone-while ground personnel review the same images in real time.The HiDEF is an aerial high-definition camera platform designed by Cineflex founder John Coyle. The HiDEF is built around Sony's HDC-950 and the HDC-F950 cameras. Part of Helinet/Cineflex's line of gyro-stabilized aerial cameras systems, this high-performance camera system employs long focal length HD lenses for long-distance image capture. The stability and zoom capabilities can clearly depict an automobile license plate from thousands of feet away.
