The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) has added two 39-foot Alfa coaches, built by Emergency Management Equipment (EME), to its fleet of public safety vehicles for use as command and control centers. Each coach includes a full-featured, network-based VoIP radio/dispatch system that utilizes an easy-to-use PC-to-radio interface. The interface gives the dispatcher optimum control over all networked radios. Additionally, the dispatcher can control the system from any of the four networked dispatch positions. The interface also makes it easy for multiple radios and channels to be cross patched together or simulcast, no matter what frequency they operate on.
