The Diamondback Tactical Predator OTV offers scalable modular armor protection for the torso, neck, arms, legs and groin that can be tailored to any mission environment. The outer shell offers a side opening design that will support a front armor panel that facilitates flexibility in arranging the fighting load without restricting the ability to don and doff the system. An opening on the lower rear can accommodate existing soft ballistic armor. Built into the Predator OTV are pockets designed to house existing ESAPI and ESBI ballistic inserts. These pockets, front and rear, are opened and closed with hook and pile fasteners. When using the front and back ballistic plates, the wearer inserts and secures the plates in internal bottom opening pockets. The Predator's modular design includes provisions for the attachment of additional ballistic panels or modules for protecting the arms, torso, neck, legs and groin. Any combination of these panels can be used together or individually. Depending upon the configuration chosen, this results in increased coverage and protection levels for the selected area.
