    The Side-Mount Sling Swivel is part of ArmaLite's ALOSTYR (Add Lots Of "Stuff" To Your Rifle) family, which allows slings to be attached to the side of the rifle, installing on either the 1913 or Fiber Quad handguard. This swivel mounts quickly and securely to the rifle using a socket head cap screw, allowing installation of tactical slings. The ALOSTYR Sling Swivel is available in two versions: the quick detachable version, which uses the Uncle Mikes Sling Swivel, and the standard version, which uses the standard military-style swivel and rivet attachement.
