With its all-new, ground-up design, the XL-200P portable radio is both advanced and extremely easy-to-use.  In this one full-spectrum radio, users now can have single- and multiband capability, which means they can start with single-band use and add bands over time without purchasing new equipment.  The XL-200P’s built-in LTE connectivity extends powerful voice Land Mobile Radio (LMR) public safety network coverage to deliver push-to-talk voice and data – including streaming video – to connect first responders anywhere broadband connectivity exists.
The XL-200P design and feature set was guided by hundreds of firsthand interviews with law enforcement, fire, EMS and utility users across the country.  The result is a lighter, more compact radio design with a customizable and intuitive user interface.  With its unparalleled audio, “shift plus” extended battery life, standard Bluetooth®, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, the XL-200P is a game changer for public safety communications users.
