The second testing officer, located in Pennsylvania, supported these remarks by saying, "The material is a lighter weight than most tactical vests I've used in the past, but it is durable; the material and stitching held up well during my wear in heavy brush and survived the test chewing of my nine-month old German Shepard."
He continued, "The RBAV does not impede kneeling, crouching or prone positions. I wore the vest for several hours with rifle plates in it. Overall, I found the vest to be comfortable; the vest distributed the weight well and did not fatigue my shoulders like others I have worn. Made in the USA, the RBAV is a SPEAR/BALCS cut tactical vest protecting the upper torso from multiple ballistic threats (depending on ballistic inserts utilized) designed with the high-speed special operator in mind. The RBAV system consists of one base vest assembly made up of an outer shell base vest carrier with an optional ballistic insert set and one set of interchangeable left and right cummerbunds, one pair of removable side plate pockets, internal elastic belly-band, pair of removable shoulder pads and a quick release cable.
