Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) August 05, 2014

SRN Inc., the company that created a portable barrier system for concealing accidents, recently expanded its mission to end rubbernecking to California.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and the Culver City, Oxnard, Indio and Inglewood Police Departments have each purchased the SRN1000, a privacy screen and barrier used mostly for law enforcement that protects victims of accidents and their families from prying eyes, keeps officers safe while working accidents and hides traumatic scenes from onlookers.

“We are implementing this inventive product with the department’s current safety measures and procedures,” said Lieutenant Milton Mckinnon of the Culver City Police Department. “There has always been a need for privacy screens, and the growth of social media and photo sharing websites amplifies this need. The SRN1000 will allow us to better protect our citizens by shielding accident and crime scenes.”

The mobile screen has been purchased by 13 Florida law enforcement agencies, including the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. It can also be found in the Dupont City Police Department in Dupont, Wash.; Apache Junction, Prescott and Tolleson Police Departments in Arizona; the Dallas Police Department, the Las Vegas Coroner’s Office, the Las Vegas VA Medical Center, the West Palm Beach Police Department and the Pratt County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas.

Coroners and investigators also rely on the SRN1000 for the safety and protection it provides from possible contamination and interruptions to investigations on scene.

About SRN Inc.
The company was founded in Bradenton, Fla. Carl Cannova designed the SRN1000 with help from RoBrady, a design company in Sarasota, Fla. Cannova and his wife, Stop Rubbernecking CC CEO Tommie Cannova, have worked along with their son Phillip, vice president of sales, to reach new customers and find other departments that can benefit from the use of the portable barrier systems.
