Radians, Inc. has entered into a trademark licensing agreement with Smith & Wesson® Corp., a leader in firearm manufacturing and design since 1852.

MEMPHIS, TN—August 23, 2013—Radians, Inc., a leading manufacturer of quality Personal Protective Equipment, has entered into a trademark licensing agreement with Smith & Wesson® Corp., a leader in firearm manufacturing and design since 1852. Both companies share a like-minded dedication to quality, reliability, performance and innovation. The relationship “fits like a glove” since the use of firearms should be accompanied by Personal Protective Equipment that makes the work and sport experience safer and more comfortable for consumers, shooters and professionals.

Radians will offer Smith & Wesson and M&P® by Smith & Wesson branded products in four Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) categories:

Premium Safety and Shooting Glasses that meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards for the retail markets only
Hearing Protection devices including electronic, passive, reusable and disposable for the retail markets only
High-visibility & Reflective Wear Apparel to meet the unique needs of the ANSI/ISEA 207-2006 Standard
Performance Glove Protection for demanding environments

The new Smith & Wesson line, which was recently launched, will address a number of uses, environments and functionality that meet the various demands of police, first responders, public safety professionals, Military and SWAT teams, and shooting and hunting enthusiasts who have come to trust and respect the Smith & Wesson brand inside and outside the home and at work while serving the public.
