PA DOC Selects Stinger

TAMPA, Fla., December 3, 2009, Stinger Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: STYS), a leader in electro-stun technology today announced that the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has selected Stinger Systems' S-200 AT Electronic Immobilization Device for use with its response and transportation officers and the S-200 AT Corrections model for use inside of Pennsylvania corrections facilities. Several hundred Stingers are anticipated to be purchased during the next year.

Robert Gruder, Stinger's CEO, stated, "I am really excited that the Pennsylvania DOC has selected the Stinger after an extensive evaluation period that tested the Stinger with other well known brands in the marketplace. This appears to be a strong validation for the next generation Stinger smart EID technology over the older technologies in the marketplace. I believe that the Pennsylvania DOC recognized that the innovative circuit technology with controlled energy output has tremendous advantages when compared to the old gas tube discharge technology."
