Watch N.Y. Troopers Man Hose at House Fire after Rescuing Dog

New York State Police troopers broke down a door to save a dog from a burning home in Lockport before grabbing a hose to keep the flames from spreading while waiting for firefighters to arrive.

Three New York State troopers were able to rescue a dog from a burning home on Royal Parkway North in the Town of Lockport Sunday.

Responding to reports of a fire, the troopers broke down a door and removed the dog from a home.

While waiting for firefighters to arrive, the troopers used a hose to try to keep the fire from spreading to a neighboring home.

Two homes burned in the blaze, one of which was completely totaled. Currently, a Go-Fund-Me page has been started by Samantha Kowalski at https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-barbaro-family.

Details on the fire haven't been released yet.
