A Vermont police K-9 was caught on video helping out the community in a unique way. With snow removal.
A video posted to the Essex Police Department's Facebook page captured Nova, one of the agency's K-9s, gripping a shovel in her mouth and dragging across some snow-covered grass. Since it was posted online, the footage has over 2,000
"K9 Nova is excited to announce her new job with Public Works assisting with shoveling," the department stated. "After they saw this application video they just couldn’t say no."
Nova joined the department in July 2020.
