New Spring 2018 Shoes from KEEN Utility

Portland, Ore. – With the increase in demand for more versatile footwear within the work place, KEEN Utility, the industrial and safety category of footwear from KEEN, Inc. (KEEN), is stepping into Spring with athletic-inspired safety styles that bridge the gap between the weekday work boot and weekend footwear. The new line is anchored by sporty design that maximizes comfort without sacrificing best-in-class safety features.

Highlights from the Spring 2018 Collection

San Antonio

The athletic silhouette and versatile design of the men’s San Antonio boot is both hard-working and on-trend thanks to its innovative design and unparalleled safety features. The boot is, to-date, the lightest weight safety-toe work shoe in the KEEN Utility product line and offers the comfort and feel of a sneaker with the protection of a work boot. Crafted with a lightweight synthetic upper, the San Antonio features a Cleansport NXT™* lining for natural odor protection, dual-density compression molded EVA midsole and a removable, custom PU footbed for additional comfort. Left and right asymmetrical aluminum toe caps deliver a roomy, completely unobtrusive fit while an oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole provides excellent surface area contact while meeting ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH safety standards. Baltimore

New for Spring ’18, the men’s Baltimore blends classic work boot style with rugged construction and best-in-class comfort. A durable full-grain leather upper and KEEN.DRY® membrane provide lightweight, breathable waterproof protection that allows vapor out without letting water in. The unique asymmetrical safety toe design provides a roomier toe box and, combined with a moisture-wicking textile lining and Cleansport NXT™ natural odor protection, help to maintain all-day comfort for long work days. The added durability of a direct-injected PU midsole in combination with a quality PU footbed anatomically engineered to provide excellent underfoot support delivers a work boot that maintains its cushion and provides support with every step. A TPU shank and 90-degree heel provide additional protection and comfort, while the oil-and slip-resistant, multi-directional, lugged rubber outsole meets ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH safety standards giving you stability to tackle any job site terrain. The Baltimore work boot is available in Brown, Black or classic Wheat in both soft and steel toe variants. MSRP: $140-$150

Springfield

The Springfield is built for workers who want a lightweight, athletic-inspired work shoe that that doesn’t skimp on essential safety features. The breathable, hard-wearing suede and synthetic upper, along with the moisture-wicking textile lining, gives this cross-trainer-style work shoe excellent ventilation to help you stay cool throughout hot days on the job. A Cleansport NXT™ liner provides natural odor protection free of chemicals and perfumes while a PU footbed delivers long-wearing comfort and arch support for the wearer. Left and right-specific asymmetrical aluminum safety toes offer ASTM-rated toe protection while an EH-rated, oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole serves as a secondary source of protection should the outsole come in contact with live electrical circuits. The Springfield work shoe, available in three unique colorways for men, is also available for women this Spring and built on a women’s specific last. MSRP: $100

Sedona Pulse

The Women’s Sedona Pulse boot sports a sleek athletic silhouette with incredible surface contact and a versatile outsole traction design. The work hiker offers a moisture-wicking, Cleansport NXT™ lining helping to provide natural odor protection and a removable, cushioning PU footbed, and dual-density compression molded EVA midsole for all day comfort. With lightweight, asymmetrical left and right aluminum safety toes this safety shoe is not only protective, it offers an unobtrusive toe box for total toe freedom. The Sedona Pulse boot also features an oil- and slip-resistant, nonmarking rubber outsole which meets ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 F I/75 C/75 EH safety standards.
