The Metropolitan Police Service in London is crediting a quick-thinking, calm-under-pressure civilian for lending them a foot.

Video released of the Feb. 6 incident shows the unidentified passer-by walking with a woman when he spots a foot chase by Kensington officers when he casually tripped the suspect, according to ITV.

The sudden obstacle sent the 17-year-old drug suspect flying as two police officers quickly made the arrest.

The Good Samaritan then proceeds to nonchalantly walk away without a backward glance.
