Tenn. Sheriff's Deputy Killed in Cruiser Crash

Montgomery County Deputy David "Bubba" Johnson was killed in the single-vehicle crash Sunday.

A Montgomery County Sheriff's deputy died following a cruiser late Sunday night.

Deputy David "Bubba" Johnson was killed in the single-vehicle wreck shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Ashland City Road, according to WZTV.

Officials said that Johnson's cruiser left the roadway before crashing.

The accident is currently under investigation.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
