Ocala police arrested a man for allegedly shooting three former co-workers outside a bar early Sunday morning in what was believed to be retaliation for an embarrassing video.

Andrew Joseph Lobban, 31, was arrested on three charges of first-degree murder, Ocala police said.

The three murder victims had worked with Lobban as bouncers at the Ocala Entertainment Complex, 1227 S.W. 17th Ave., police said. Police identified them as Benjamin Larz Howard, 23, Belleview; Jerry Lamar Bynes Jr., 20, Ocala; and Josue Santiago, 25, Ocala.

Around 12:43 a.m., they were leaving A.J.'s on the Square, 11 E. Silver Springs Blvd., when the shooting began, police said. Two died along the sidewalk outside the business, having sustained gunshot wounds to the head, while the third man was pronounced dead at a local hospital, police said.

Detectives had information that led them to Lobban. During an interview with detectives, Lobban said one of the man had recently "punked" him and videotaped it and showed the video to the other two men, police said. The three men laughed and teased him about the video, police said.

While investigating the crime scene, officers found a 9mm handgun in a nearby trash bin, but haven't confirmed if it is the actual weapon used in the shootings, police said.
