Two New Jersey police cruisers collided with each other early Wednesday morning.

The Pitman and Mantua Township units were responding to a car fire on Route 55 around 1:30 a.m. when the crash occurred, according to The South Jersey Times.

Neither officer was injured in the collision.

The officers had responded after the New Jersey State Police asked for assistance at the scene of the previous crash since their units were tied up at other calls.

Deptford Township police responded to the car fire and no one was found trapped inside the vehicle.

The crash between the patrol cars is currently under investigation.
