Newtown Considers Security Officers at Schools
The sworn and armed "school security officers" would be separate from school resource officers.
Kehoe said, however, "I'm confident that we can begin to shift back to the normal traffic enforcement responsibilities that we have. ... It's just a matter of when.
"I would like to give it a couple of months to see where we're going," he said. "I think the dust is settling, so to speak. As the dust settles more, I think I'll be able to see."
