COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. -- Authorities still are sorting out an attack on Maple Springs Road that left a man dead and his fiancee injured and bleeding two weeks ago.

Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves said detectives "are still analyzing evidence and following through on the leads we do have."

Graves said investigators have not named any suspects and are looking for more information.

A call came in at 8 a.m. Nov. 13 reporting trouble in the rural area north of Manchester and west of McMinnville, Capt. Frank C. Watkins said.

The caller said a woman was seen "running down Maple Springs Road with blood on her," according to Watkins. She told officers that she and her fiance had been assaulted at their home.

At the home, deputies found that Thomas A. Colucci had been shot several times, Watkins said. He later was pronounced dead. Connie King had minor injuries, apparently from being struck or punched.

Colucci, 41, was originally from Erial, N.J., where his funeral will be held today, according to his obituary on the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home website. He had two sons.

King "hasn't remembered anything else that we know of" since the day of the attack, Graves said last week.

Detectives haven't ruled out anyone as a suspect and could use help from the public, he said.

"We're not focusing on any one person right now," the sheriff said.
