The pursuit started following a hit-and-run.

Nov. 06--At least two motorists were hurt Monday evening when a man fleeing Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers crashed into their vehicle, authorities said.

The motorists were ejected from their vehicle, trooper Betsy Randolph said. Their conditions and the number of people in the vehicle were not available late Monday.

About 7 p.m., a vehicle heading west on the Turner Turnpike hit another vehicle and kept driving. A witness alerted troopers to the accident and followed the fleeing driver. When he exited the turnpike at Bryant Avenue, a trooper attempted to stop the driver, but he fled and crashed into another vehicle, Randolph said.

The fleeing driver was pinned in the car for a short time after the crash, she said.

Nobody was hurt in the vehicle involved in the initial collision.
