Wis. Officer Hurt in Rollover Cruiser Crash

A Milwaukee police officer suffered minor injuries Thursday night when his squad struck a tree and rolled over.

July 27--A Milwaukee police officer suffered minor injuries Thursday night when his squad struck a tree and rolled over at N. 57th St. and W. Silver Spring Drive after he swerved to avoid a vehicle that turned into his path, police said.

The officer was responding to a call shortly before 9 p.m. when the crash occurred.

The officer was treated at a hospital and is in good condition.

Police early Friday said no other information about the crash was available.
