Funeral services have been set for a Jenks police officer who died this week after falling ill at a state narcotics agency training session in Oklahoma City.

June 29--JENKS -- Funeral services have been set for a Jenks police officer who died this week after falling ill at a state narcotics agency training session in Oklahoma City.

Services for Juan Legarreta are slated for 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of St. Benedict in Broken Arrow.

Legarreta, 27, died Wednesday at an Oklahoma City hospital, one day after he became sick during training for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, where he was applying for a job, authorities said.

The state Medical Examiner's Office will determine his cause of death.

Legarreta, an Army veteran who served in the Iraq War, had worked for the Jenks Police Department for about a year.
