Indy Officer, Child Among Four Injured In Crash

An Indianapolis police officer, two other adults and a child were injured in a crash on the city's west side Sunday night.

INDIANAPOLIS

An Indianapolis police officer, two other adults and a child were injured in a crash on the city's west side Sunday night.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. at Washington Street and Lynhurst Drive.

The officer's marked car, another vehicle and a pickup truck were involved in the crash.

All four people injured were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

First responders initially reported that the officer had been ejected from his vehicle, but officials later said it was not clear if that was the case.
