Colo. Officer Suffers Possible Broken Neck in Wreck

A Morrison police officer was seriously injured when he crashed on Highway 285 near Morrison Monday night.

MORRISON, Colo. --

A Morrison police officer was seriously injured when he crashed on Highway 285 near Morrison Monday night.

The officer, who has not been identified, was driving southbound on 285 near Highway 8 when he crashed at about 7:30 p.m., according to Morrison police.

No other vehicles were involved.

The officer was transported to Swedish Hospital with a possible broken neck, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
