SOUTH PARK
Police are at the scene of a robbery and shooting at the Foxcroft Shopping Center in SouthPark.
Police said the incident involves a robbery of an armored car at an ATM in the shopping center.
The armored car had two employees in it when one of them got out to service the ATM, police said. That's when she was shot in the shoulder, police said.
The armored car was then on it's way to the hospital when a 911 operator told them to pull over at the corner of Providence Road and Cavendish Court so the woman's could receive medical attention from Medic.
At one point, nearby Charlotte Country Day was placed on lockdown after the shooting. Channel 9 has not heard if this is still in effect.
Police have not said if they have taken anyone into custody.
