PITTSBURGH
Witnesses said a man was seen parachuting into Station Square on Wednesday.
Channel 11 News spoke to one man who captured the jump on his cell phone camera.
"I see this guy jump off the building and his chute opens up and here he sails right down towards Station Square and down by the Gateway Clipper," said witness Mike Baxter. "I thought he was committing suicide at first but then I saw the chute open up and it was pretty cool."
Police said the man may have jumped from a Mount Washington building.
After landing, police said the man got away in a car that was waiting for him. Officers said he could face several charges including trespassing.
