INDIANAPOLIS

A robber with sticky fingers used a glue gun to hold up a west side bank Monday, police said.

The PNC Bank at 3003 Kentucky Avenue was robbed just after 1:30 p.m.

Tellers said the man pulled what appeared to be a gun and had an object taped to his leg, which he said was a bomb.

Investigators said they identified the robber as Aaron Randolph and arrested him in the 3300 block of South Lockburn Street.

Police said that's when they discovered that the alleged weapon was actually a glue gun and that the "bomb" was not an explosive device.

The money taken in the bank robbery was also recovered, police said.

Randolph was arrested on a preliminary charge of armed robbery and was being held in the Marion County Jail on Tuesday.
