SAN DIEGO

Dozens of police officers gathered evidence Tuesday morning after several people on a party bus were robbed at gunpoint.

The bus was on Bordelon Street in Tierrasanta at 2:30 a.m. when up to eight people on the bus turned on four others and robbed them.

"Between four and eight suspects, one used a gun. The rest used their fists to rob four people of jewelry," acting Sgt. Dan McLaughlin of the San Diego Police department said.

A 17-year-old was hit across the face with a revolver.

One of the suspects fled on foot.

The party was arranged on Facebook and it is unknown if the robbers and victims knew each other.
