Pa. Woman Accused of Attacking Officer During Crash Investigation

A Westmoreland County woman accused of attacking a police officer was arrested Saturday morning. Officials said Sadie Feiling, 20, of Avonmore, was arrested at the Latrobe Excela Hospital after creating a scene during a DUI crash investigation.

LATROBE, Pa.

A Westmoreland County woman accused of attacking a police officer was arrested Saturday morning.

Officials said Sadie Feiling, 20, of Avonmore, was arrested at the Latrobe Excela Hospital after creating a scene during a DUI crash investigation.

Feiling was yelling and screaming profanities in the hospital?s emergency room while being questioned, police said. She then punched Trooper Dale Gabriel in the head before being handcuffed, authorities said.

Gabriel was treated at the hospital for a minor injury.

Feiling faces charges of aggravated assault, assault on a law enforcement official, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment.
