WILKINSBURG, Pa. --
Police continue to search for a driver who led them on a chase before crashing into two vehicles in Wilkinsburg early Thursday morning.
Police said the chase started after a driver fled during a traffic stop. Police said it ended on Glenn Avenue when the man struck two parked vehicles.
The chase came to a violent stop on Glenn Avenue at about 2 a.m. when the suspect crashed, police said.
When Channel 11 News arrived at the scene, a sport utility vehicle was down an embankment, hanging on a retaining wall and wedged in the porch of a house.
The owner of both vehicles that were hit talked to Channel 11 News.
"Me and my wife (were) basically asleep, and we heard this crash,? said Maurice Johnson. ?Every time we hear a crash around here, we know it's our car. So I said, 'That's our car.?
Police are still looking for the driver involved in the chase. They said they?ve identified the man, but have not yet made an arrest.
