HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Pa.
Two 19-year-old girls were killed after crashing their car late Monday night in Harrison Township.
Police said the victims crashed into a vehicle salvage yard along Freeport Road at about 11:30 p.m., but the crash wasn?t discovered until early Tuesday morning.
The two were returning from a trip to Walmart when the crash happened, police said. The damaged vehicle didn't look out of place at the junkyard, which is why it took so long to find the bodies.
The roadway was recently paved and had less grip than an older road would have, investigators said.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
