Drunken Driver Almost Hits W.Va. Police Cruiser

In Ohio County, Michael Butler, of Arkansas, is facing charges after police say he almost drove into a police cruiser early Sunday morning.

WHEELING, W.Va. --

In Ohio County, Michael Butler, of Arkansas, is facing charges after police say he almost drove into a police cruiser early Sunday morning.

It happened on National Road in Wheeling around 1 a.m. According to police, Butler's blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit.

Wheeling police also say Butler lied to officers about not having his ID. Butler is now being charged with aggravated DUI, driving while suspended and obstruction.

He is currently being held in the Northern Regional Jail on $1500 bond.
