Ohio Officer Indicted for Leaking Confidential Information

West Chester police announced the indictment of one of their own Thursday afternoon. Police said David Busemeyer, 37, is accused of leaking confidential information.

WEST CHESTER, Ohio

West Chester police announced the indictment of one of their own Thursday afternoon.

Police said David Busemeyer, 37, is accused of leaking confidential information.

Busemeyer was indicted on charges of attempted tampering with evidence, obstructing official business and obstructing justice. He could face jail time if convicted of the charges.

Police would not say what information Busemeyer leaked but said they have been investigating him since September.

Busemeyer is on paid administrative leave.
