Two Memphis Cruisers Involved in Crash

Two Memphis police cars were involved in a crash this morning in North Memphis, where at least two people were taken to area hospitals.

According to an Memphis Police Department dispatcher, the officers involved in the crash are "OK."

Police and fire dispatchers couldn't confirm how many vehicles were involved in the collision at Locust Street and Mount Olive. But one person has been taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and another person was taken to Methodist North Hospital.

Firefighters received the call from MPD at 9:10. The fire department sent an ambulance and police officials requested three more, according to a dispatcher.
