Oregon Officer Injured in Cruiser Crash

Oregon State Police troopers investigated the injury traffic crash involving a Sandy police officer at the intersection of Highway 26 and Langensand Road.

Aug. 01--Oregon State Police troopers are on the scene of an injury traffic crash involving a Sandy police officer at the intersection of Highway 26 and Langensand Road.

A pick-up truck and a police cruiser crashed near milepost 25 at 4:45 a.m., injuring the officer, who was taken by ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The truck's driver was not injured.

While OSP investigates the crash scene, traffic along Highway 26 is reduced to a single lane in both directions. For more traffic updates, check www.tripcheck.com.
