Ohio Sheriff Deputy's Horse Dies at Jamboree

The Belmont County Sheriff's Office has confirmed one of its horses in the mounted unit died after the Red Neck Run on Friday.

MORRISTOWN, Ohio --

The Belmont County Sheriff's Office has confirmed one of its horses in the mounted unit died after the Red Neck Run on Friday.

Witnesses said it appears the horse, named Hank got spooked because of the run. The horse then hit a fence, causing it to suffer an injury, which led to the animal losing a significant amount of blood.
